Procedures and steps to bury the deceased in the Islamabad Graveyard

( office timing from 0800 to 1500 hours.)

* Go to graveyard office and provide him the necessary information (name / father or husband name / place of death / age / time of buried) and pay him Rs. 690 for grave charges and stone charges

* for children: up to 2 years. Rs.. 100
above 2 years. and up to 7 years. Rs.. 250
for adult: Rs.. 300

Conditions:

1.The address from where the dead body will be picked up must be of Islamabad resident.

2. Provide the necessary information 4 hours before you want to bury the deceased person.

3. After the payment of the grave, a graveyard officer will write a note/order for digging the grave. You have to present and show that order/note to a person who digs the grave.

4. The bus service is compulsory to call. The bus will reach at the given address & time. And grave will be ready by the time you reach to the graveyard.

5. The bus will take you back after funerals.

6. The driver will collect the Garage to Garage bus charges @ 4 Rs. per Kilometer.

The address of the graveyard officer Fire Brigade. Islamabad He will give you a note after assuring the terms & conditions. And then you are required to show that note/order to the person who will dig the grave.

How to call Ghus'aal
A person who washes dead bodies.

You can also call Ghusaal (a person who washes dead bodies). The address & telephone number is given below;

He/she will give free services but it is compulsory for you to give pick and drop & coffin.

How to call Ambulance

EDHI ambulance will be available for dead bodies on Telephone No. 2827844 or dial free phone number. 115

(Within the City EDHI ambulance service)
They will provide ambulance service from Garage to Destination at the rate of only Rs. 30 upto the 15KM, over 15KM they will charge Rs. 5 per KM.

(Outside the city EDHI ambulance service)
They will provide ambulance service from Garage to Destination at the rate of Rs. 8 per KM. (Outside the city).

Note: The EDHI Ambulance allows maximum three(3) persons along with the dead body. They will fine you Rs. 100 per hour, if you keep engage the ambulance.
