The Federation of Cyberians was established (as a club) on 1st January 1998 and it became the Federation on 1st January, 2001. Cyberians feel proud to launch Pakistan's First ever City Web Guide on the Internet and got applaud media (electronic & print) coverage about the story of launching Pakistan's First City Web Guide (Islamabad.net). We had launched the Federal Budget 1998-99, Federal Board Intermediate & Secondary Education (FBISE) Matric result and Central Superior Service (CSS) result (first time in the history of Pakistan) on the Internet. Our main aim to facilitate our local citizens and provide complete information about the beautiful capital city (Islamabad) with guided street maps, important telephone numbers, embassies addresses, guest houses contacts, hotels/motels/restaurants addresses, banks information, attractive pictures of the city and much more. We are providing FREE web based email service with lucrative space of 6 MB mailbox and it is accessible around the globe.

It is our dream to make Islamabad.net the custodian of our cultural, religious, and social values. Islamabad.net has all the potential to come as an integrating influence not only for Pakistanis living in the country but also for Pakistanis living abroad. Cyberians has announced Asia's First City WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) Portal site on 1st August 2001. The WAP site can be browsed via WAP enabled mobile sets. All important contacts and telephone numbers are given there. The advantage of this new upcoming technology is that people can get desire information instantly via mobile sets. The WAP address is http://wap.islamabad.net  This important news was covered by Pakistan Television News on its "KHABARNAMA" of 1 August 2001. Along with national news papers, the International news papers "Khaleej Times" & "Gulf News" published this attractable news on 1st August 2001. On 7th November 2001, we had launched Federal Board SSC result on WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) / Mobile. We declared pioneer in Asia of launching of result on WAP. We are Pioneer of launching First city WAP guide under the proper domain name in Asia. 

We also have honored to announce the Award (The Sword of Cyber Defence) for the public sector. The award awarded to the websites of CBR, SECP, PTV and State Bank of Pakistan. This was announced on PTV Khabarnama on 22nd June 2003 and all newspapers published this story prominently. We have launched World's First City Graveyard portal (Islamabad Graveyard) on Internet and mobile site WAP site, the Pakistan Television (PTV) has covered this story very prominently in PTV World channel in "News At Ten" on 4th September 2003. Pakistan Television World televised a special report on 9th Nov 2003 about World's First City Graveyard portal in a renowned TV programme "Reporters Diary". By the grace of Allah, we also have won an Outstanding International Web Award "CWA" in January 2004 from CanadianWebAwards.com
